ABOUT

The HighCom Guardian 4sas7 is a Level IV ceramic composite body armor plate rated to stop .30 caliber M2AP armor-piercing rounds — the highest standard threat level in NIJ certification. It is NIJ Standard 0101.04 certified, meaning it has been independently tested and listed on the NIJ Compliant Products List, not simply claimed to meet standard. This is the certification to look for when rifle-rated armor-piercing protection is a requirement.

The 4sas7 pairs a ceramic strike face with a polyethylene (PE) composite backing. Ceramic shatters incoming projectiles on contact while the PE backing catches the fragments, giving you the armor-piercing rating at a weight that remains practical for extended wear. The plate is available in full cut, shooter cut, SAPI-M, and swimmer cut profiles in both single and multi-curve options, covering the full range of plate carrier pocket sizes and cut preferences.

Each plate comes with a 5-year warranty on all ballistic material. Available in 8x10, 10x12, and side plate sizes. If you are selecting your first Level IV plate or replacing plates in a known carrier, the 4sas7 is a dependable NIJ-certified option at a price point that does not require compromise on certification status.
